Human Resource Management is a course with dual purposes. First, the development of employer-employee relations in both the private and public sector in order to facilitate organization productivity. Second, the management of scarce human resources in terms of planning and development techniques in both the private and public sector will be covered. Wage and salary administration, forecasting employment needs, recruiting and selection, evaluation, and training issues will be the focus of discussion and lecture. Prerequisites: EN-102 and BUS-279.
