This course emphasizes innovation strategies, particularly the framework and direction for product development. Students will examine the benefits and limitations of specific innovation strategic frameworks as well as the role of supporting strategies of technology, marketing, platforms, intellectual property, and capability. The student will explore how product roadmaps are created and updated as ideas are refined. The student will also develop a business case, examine ways of winning buy-in from the people whose support is essential to success, and develop a product charter. Prerequisite: PRM-500. (3)
