Prof. Trades Legal Environment

This course introduces the student to legal reasoning; ethical norms; the legal process and the American legal system; administrative law process and the role of skilled professional trade manager in that process; the study of selected areas of public and private law, such as regulations, antitrust, labor, product liability, contracts, and consumer and environmental law; and international dimensions of the legal environment of law. The purpose of the course is to establish legal literacy and to develop an understanding of legal dynamics with a particular focus on the skilled professional trades. Prerequisites: EN-102 and PTA-174. (3-0-3)
