This course provides an introduction to Air Traffic Control (ATC), the history, development, and structure of the National Airspace System (NAS). The student will explore navigation aids, ATC radar systems, terminal and enroute traffic control, flight service, weather facilities, airspace, and FAA regulations. Prerequisite: AVT-143. (3-0-3)
