Capitol Virtual Library

Access the Capitol Virtual Library with your Capitol webmail username and password. For example, if your Capitol webmail is jlsmith@captechu.edu, use that address and your password to gain access.  

The Capitol Virtual Library features:

  • 24/7 access from any device (computer, tablet, and smartphone) 

  • More than 20 academic databases contain thousands of scholarly, popular, and trade journals, e-books, conference proceedings, dissertations and theses, videos, images/graphics, data sets, company and market reports, and more.

Become a Library Aide

Apply to work in the Puente Library as a student library aide!

  1. Visit the Current Openings page at the beginning of the Fall semester.
  2. Scroll down the page and select View All.
  3. Select Student Application.
  4. Follow the instructions.

Library Aide responsibilities include:

  • Greet and assist library patrons, providing information on library resources, services, and policies in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Process library materials using the check-in and check-out system, including handling renewals, returns, and managing holds.
  • Organize and shelve books and other materials according to the library’s classification system.
