Students and alumni have now have pre-populated accounts already created by the University. Accessing your account is easy, just click on https://captechu-csm.symplicity.com/. You will receive an email to reset your password.

Once you are in the system you should complete your profile. It is like an online portfolio that you can share with employers so that they will be able to find you directly. The event tab allows you to see upcoming events, you can see what companies will be at the job fair you can also RVSP to any active workshops or events. Career Advice gives students tips on the job market or for other business-related things.  You can also, conduct an individual job search using criteria specific to you and your career. Simplicity is updated daily with employers and opportunities and is accessible 24 hours a day.

Additionally, you can upload your documents (resumes, cover letters, and transcripts) that you can share with employers by selecting the opt-in for the Resume Book.

Please be aware that we are seeing a rise in fraudulent employer postings. We do our best to vet each employer - however, some may make it through our process. Scammers are taking advantage of students and it’s important to know if the job/internship position is real. Things like spelling errors, incorrect company’s emails or requests for money are huge red flags. If you ever have a question about whether it is real please email careers@captechu.edu to report the employer.
