Scholarships of $2,000 will be awarded to persons on active duty in the uniformed military services, veterans, their spouses, or dependents who are currently attending four-year colleges or universities in the United States (not community colleges) and enrolled as full-time students in an eligible degree program.
Active-duty personnel or veterans enrolled as full-time freshmen are eligible to apply. Spouses or dependents must be at least second-year students enrolled full-time as sophomores or juniors at the time of application.
Are you majoring in Computer or Electrical Engineering? Looking for $30,000 a year to pay for college? If so, the Air Force Technical Degree Sponsorship Program (TDSP) may help you reach your goal! Stop in the Financial Aid Office for an application.
Hill & Ponton is pleased to support veterans as they further their education and enter career fields that help other veterans. Each year, four scholarships of $1,000 are awarded to the strongest candidates.
Following active duty service, many United States military veterans choose to earn a higher education degree. This path can help former service members transition to civilian life and build a fulfilling future, whether through a community college or a state university. However, tuition costs can be a barrier.
Financial aid and military scholarships can help veterans and their family members pursue their educational goals. The specifics of this financial support vary by scholarship, but most offer tuition assistance up to a certain amount. Student loans and other financial aid may also help, depending on the applicant’s financial need.
Application deadlines: May 1 and November 1st of each year.
